5 kids and Ma Turkey passed through the backyard this morning. Looked like they were shopping for grasshoppers and other creepy, jumpy creatures. They were fun to watch and Ma had no trouble keeping them in line and close by.
What a thrill, Blair. I am glad you had this encounter. I have photographed a lot of turkeys in the spring, but seldom get a good chance at the young. I see a lot of them, but it is not under conditions where I can get the camera in action.
