A few years ago, well after dark, I heard my darlin say.."What was that? I just heard something. Go outside and see what's out there." Being the great protector that I am, I responded with a very polite "yes Dear" and grabbed my camera and out the door I went. It didn't take me very long to "see" what was making all the noise. I got a quick picture and went back in the house..quickly. And I mean quickly. My darlin asked, "See anything?" I said "Nope, nuttin honey". Then I showed her the picture I had just taken.
It only took a few hours for her to settle down and go to sleep. Wonder why...
LOve what was that noise.. Yes, My pants were soiled that night. lol
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you stood there long enough to snap a picture!! I would have bolted!
ReplyDeleteI think I just wrote a comment that disappeared into space, so here goes again. Thanks for stopping by, commenting, and following. Looks like we are working in similar habitat, though you have a snow deficiency! My night motion camera has gotten gray fox, skunk, and raccoon. The bear will be around the day before I decide it's time to take the feeders in at night. This is the first year I've had so many turkeys, and first time I've seen them displaying. What a treat for us!
ReplyDeleteOh Lord! I'd NOT have been your darling after that, or erm, at least not immediately. Love the pic of the Red-winged Blackbirds you've got as a banner. They've been migrants here in my yard in South Texas for weeks now and I can't get enough of watching them.
